My Makeup Collection 2017: Eye Shadow Palettes

Hey There!

Today I want to share my eye shadow palettes with you all!  Since my decision to downsize my collection, I decided to take an in-depth inventory of all of my makeup and beauty products which includes price (or worth) of each product and the round about date the product was bought. In this post, I will just share the products themselves and the total worth.

Eye Shadow Palettes

  1. Anastasia Beverly Hills; Modern Renaissance
  2. Urban Decay; Naked 2
  3. Tarte; Bow & Go Holiday 2013 (Swatches HERE)
  4. Tarte; Bow & Go Spring 2014
  5. Tarte 8 pan; Purple (Unsure of the correct name)
  6. Tarte 8 pan; Teal (Unsure of the correct name)
  7. BH Cosmetics; Galaxy Chic
  8. Wet & Wild; Comfort Zone
  9. Maybelline Modern Metallics; Sunkissed Olive

Total: $237.47

As you can see, I don’t have a whole lot of palettes compared to a lot of people. I’ve recently decluttered quite a few and this is what I’ve been left with. My goal for my collection is to have 2 full palettes and 1 Z-Palette. My game plan is to do Pan That Palette challenges and also depot colors that I enjoy to be able to take up less space. Why have an entire palette if you only like a couple colors out of it?

What are you makeup collection goals?

You can see my how my Pan That Palette challenge is going HERE and HERE. Thank you so much for reading!

    1. I’m thinking it probably is too. I was trying to keep travel in mind thought. I’ll probably end up with just one and a z palette

  1. I am trying to use some of my lesser-used palettes, but may try to give some away. I have the Naked 2, but it just does not inspire me! Ever since I got Modern Renaissance, that’s the only one I want to use!

    1. Yeah Naked 2 is for basic everyday. It’s a good palette to pair with one that has a lot of brights. Modern Renaissance has best of both worlds! I feel you on that!

  2. I really want to get the modern renaissance palette! Would you say you find you can do lots of natural looks with it and the quality is worth the price?

    1. I really love the colors in this palette and the pigmentation is great. The only downside is that most of the shadows are so soft that they are dusty. So when you dip your brush in, there is a lot of powder everywhere….this also means some fallout when you’re applying to your eye. It’s not the worst thing in the world, but it can be a little annoying.
