Today I wanted to share a quick and easy look using one of my Project Pan shadows in Luxor. I’ve been struggling to use this shadow, its powdery and the pigmentation is sub par. BUT! Using this shade as a ‘neutral’ is the easiest way I’ve found to reach for it. Let’s get into the look!
So, first we will talk about the quick and easy eye look! Using the Tarte 2013 Bow & Go Holiday palette I went in with Ideal Ivory all over the lid. Then I did my best to pack Luxor into the crease (The shadow tends to blend away really easily).
(Ideal Ivory; 3rd row, 1st shadow) (NYX Luxor; shadow single, far right)
I did a winged liner today using Kat Von D’s Tattoo Liner in Trooper, used Tarte Light, Camera, Lashes Mascara for my top lashes, and Buxom mascara on the bottom lashes.
For the face I’ve kept it pretty simple today:
- Tarte’s Brighter Days highlighting moisturizer
- e.l.f Eyebrow Kit in Medium
- Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer in Honey
- Mark Kay Satin Lips lip balm
- BH Cosmetics Blush Duo in Rose
- Loreal Infallible Pro Matte Gloss in Statement Nude
So thats the final look! Are there any ‘unconventinal’ colors that you use as neutrals in your collection? Let me know in the comments! Thank you so much for reading!
